What earcandles are

The use of earcandles stems from the traditional Indian medical practice. Their usage for a variety of problems probably dates back several centuries. The hollow candle is placed in the ear and lit, which produces heat in the ear-passage. This heat activates the blood-circulation in the ear and stimulates the disposal of toxics. The use of earcandles also diminishes pressure in the head in case of a headache, cold or infection of the cavities for instance.
